I take opertunity of penning you few Lines hoping they may find you in good helth.

Mr. Lowell Sir the 3 of us that is hear in Hospital is Improving Fast and Wea Want to go Back to the Battery as Soon as possiable Wea Will bea able to Return to duty in Short. Mr. Lowell Sir it this Nessary for us to have our descriptive Roals hear And I hope you Will do us the favour by Sending them to this Gen. Hospital as Wea can't draw Know pay without them . Give my Respest to all the Boys in the Batery also Garstt & SCutt sends their Respests to all the Boys in the Batery Direct to this General Hospital New House Refuge Ward D.
