4:00pm, Outside the Hays Public Library.  Jay Antle, Jim Reed, and Rick Schmidt conversing on  where to position ourselves.

Mike Phelps soaking in the nice 350K Theta-E air.

5:05pm, About 15 S Plainville on US-183 monitoring persistant tcu development to the northwest near the meso low.

5:25pm, South of Plainville.  Sharp tower to the northwest.

5:50pm, at K-18 and Rd X, east of Plainville.  Embryotic stage of soon-to-be Stockton supercell.

7:08pm, heading west on US-24 on east side of Stockton.  Impressive wall cloud visible to our WSW.  We hear reports off the vortex frequency of a tornado just a few moments ago southwest of Stockton.  We later find out that Howie Bluestein and his team documented the tornado during its whole life, from about 6:55pm to 7:05pm.  Our chase armada was 5 minutes late for the show!

7:13pm, on the southwest side of Stockton in the vicinity of the bear's cage.  Looking directly west at a very intense area of motion and rotation.  RFD is soon visible as clouds cascade toward the surface only a half mile to our west-northwest.
