4:40, heading north on US83.  Developing Cb to the north-northwest, north of Liberal, KS.

 

4:48, same Cb, much more mature.

 

5:25, looking north from US54 just southwest of Kismet.

 

6:20, heading east on K23, just east of Meade State Park.  Rapidly rotating wall cloud looking north.

 

7:21, 6 S Ashland, where our east route ends.  We have to head south.  Looking north at a rotating wall cloud 9 minutes before producing a large tornado.

7:25, 6 S Ashland.  Looking northeast at the mesocyclone signature, 5 minutes before producing the large tornado just southwest of Sitka.

7:55, along KS/OK border 4 SSW of Comanche, KS.  Rapidly rotating wall cloud develops again to our north-northeast.

 

7:56, same location.  Intense rotation in the wall cloud with dust moving (circulating?) immediately below it.

 

8:25, along SR34 about 2 miles north of US64.  Massive chaser convergence.  Looking north-northeast at a brief funnel.

 

8:27, same location.  Rotating wall cloud looking north, with brief funnels.

 

A massive chaser convergence, probably the largest on record, commenced along SR34 north of US64 in Woods Co., OK.
