Mandragora

Bury the murderer at the crossroads at midnight
gouge his eyes from their sockets with a stick
Split his belly and spill the entrails
Cleave his manhood and harvest his seeds:
then grind them into the ground,
feed the hungry earth.

The root will rejoice with noisesome cries;
take the sacrifice, accept its guise:
and this above all else know the wise,
that especially, specially, Mandrake loves the eyes.
